Megan Thee Stallion’s True Legacy

Told across three volumes, SELF / PURPOSE / LEGACY, our Spring 26 “Make It True” campaign, starring Megan Thee Stallion, was built on one idea: that real impact comes from staying true at every stage of your journey. Not just in who you are, but in what you stand for and what you choose to leave behind.

Megan has proved that she is an ever-evolving influence, embodying what it means to leave behind a TRUE LEGACY — one that leaves its mark far beyond her chart-topping music.

Her legacy is no finish line, it’s a foundation for what’s next. As our “Make It True” campaign transitions us from spring into summer, we sat down with Megan to talk about her journey, mindset, and the story she continues to write. Here’s the tea.

TRUE SELF

How do you express your true self through how you write?

I’m just being authentically me. Like, I say the first thing that comes to mind a lot of times. I talk about how I treat people and how I want to be treated. I talk about what I feel like I deserve and what I'm not gonna take, and I’m gonna tell these men—and these ladies—what I demand upfront. Just come correct and respectful.

How do you express your true self through what you wear?

I express my true self through what I wear by wearing what I want to wear and doing what I want to do. Showcasing all the things that I like through how I dress — like I love anime, so I cosplay things. I love my body; I think I’m pretty fine, so I wear things that make me look finer.

TRUE PURPOSE

What is a motto you love and live by?

A motto I love and live by these days is discipline over mood. I may not feel like it, but I gotta go get it done.

Can you describe the mission and purpose of the Pete & Thomas Foundation?

I wanted to create the Pete & Thomas Foundation to honor my mother, my father, and my great-grandmother who passed away. I wanted to continue my family values — the values they taught me. I want to keep giving back to my community in Houston and communities beyond. I feel like because I am in a position to bless others, and I’m so blessed, that’s what I want to do — I just want to spread the Hot Girlness all over the world.

TRUE LEGACY

How do you define legacy while you’re still writing it?

I guess I would say that I can’t just define myself as “this is the end” or “this is what I’m going to leave behind.” Because I feel like I’m doing it every day, and every day I figure out a new purpose, a new mission, and a new goal that I want to achieve. So maybe it’s just that every day I am learning — it’s just another day I get to leave my impact behind.

As Megan’s story continues, one thing remains: staying True never goes out of season.

The story continues…the Summer Shop is now live.
