Meet Cute: Fall in Love with Rhe & Hunter

You know we had to do something extra special for international love day a.k.a Cupid's birthday a.k.a Valentine's Day. This holiday is so controversial because who needs one day to show love when you can do it all the time?

However, we digress and instead have set our sights on a couple that gives us all the feels. They're cute, they're stylish—they're Rhe and Hunter—and they're dishing out all the deets on loving someone, loving yourself, and loving your personal style.

Tell the True fam about yourself.

I’m Rhe! I’m 22 years old and currently a full-time student in Los Angeles about to graduate!  I’m also an Influencer on Instagram and TikTok.  I'm Hunter and I am from Los Angeles, California. I am 23 and a full-time student and part-time Social Media Influencer.

How do you define true love?

To us, true love is finding a partner who is also your best-friend. Someone who you can be your true self with and can connect with on multiple levels.

There's no denying the chemistry between you and Hunter. How did you meet?

It’s actually a funny story, but I’ll keep it short. I was a senior in high school and saw him one morning walking to school and thought he was so cute. Without any communication over a year later, we met at a grocery store and from there the rest is history! 

Is there a go-to place or hidden gem that resonates with your love story? If so, share the details. 

It kind of sound silly but a go-to hidden gem type place for us would probably be the desert.  More specifically Joshua Tree or Palm Springs. We normally go out there to celebrate or escape and just connect more with each other. 

Do you believe that in order to love someone else, you must first love yourself?

Absolutely. It’s more so just about being able to accept love from others for what it is that normally follows after you begin to love yourself. 

In your opinion, what are the benefits of self-love?

I think practicing self-love comes with the ability to build stronger emotional connections, reducing stress and anxiety, improving your mental health, and finding peace and happiness within yourself. 

How do you show yourself self-love these days?

Sometimes when there’s so much going on and I feel overwhelmed I like to take some time to myself and journal. I also love treating myself from time to time and practicing daily self affirmations. 

We gotta know, who is more stylish? If you can't decide, what are both of your style strengths?

Rhe is definitely the more stylish one between us. Ever since the beginning of our relationship she has been the one constantly evolving and pushing herself to experiment more with fashion.

What’s your favorite True item at the moment and why?

My favorite would have to be the Big T Cargos. Love a good pair of cargos that I can dress up and down. The details on the stitching is IT!

How are you two celebrating Valentine's Day?

We’re probably going to go out on a nice romantic dinner…sushi!

Any major plans for 2023 you can share? 

Going to be graduating in the Spring and hope to start saving up for a place. Also, hope to travel and continue to grow and create.
