Tell us about yourself. What do you want our True Fam to know?

I am, first and foremost a mom to my beautiful son Milo Blake, I am a beauty entrepreneur, CEO of skincare line skinBUTTR, model, and content creator. I feel so blessed and fulfilled to be able to work in spaces doing what I love.

You're a model, mother, and entrepreneur. How do you balance a multifaceted lifestyle?

I quite literally just do my best, I’ve learned this year to value myself, my time, and my mental health. My son comes immediately after, because I can’t pour from an empty cup. My life can be super hectic and stressful at times but I do my best to remain grounded, prioritize, not over commit myself, and just breathe through it all.  At the end of the day, I feel so blessed with so many opportunities that I used to dream of. When I remain in a headspace of gratitude, it makes me feel grounded, and balanced no matter what is going on. I know that my purpose is greater than myself, and that I have to work hard to get to where I need to be, so I appreciate the entire process, truly.

We love seeing the relationship between you and your son, Milo. How has being a mother impacted your life, and what are some of his best qualities? 

Being a mother has impacted my life in all the best ways. Being a mom to Milo has brought me patience, it’s made me order my steps to better prioritize, it’s taught me grace and to take myself and the things that I am passionate about a little more seriously. It’s taught me time truly flies and that you have to love on and cherish those around you. 

Milo is honestly hilarious, he is my best friend. Before he could even speak, we have been able to communicate nonverbally, and he truly is the funniest, sweetest, most pure soul I’ve ever encountered. 

He is so kind, and gentle, yet confident. He is so smart and knows exactly what he wants and has so much determination to get it. It’s truly amazing watching him grow. I’m honored to be his mom.

Is there a particular activity you both enjoy doing together? 

He’d say going outside, but I would say chilling at home, cuddling, playing, watching movies.

What words of wisdom have you received from your mother or mother figure that sticks with you today?

That you don’t have it all figured out and that you won’t have it all figured out. You have to do your best. Move with love and pure intentions and everything else will work out.

Out of all the matching looks you styled, which is your top fave and why?

I loveeeee the cargos. As a mom they’re perfect because they’re comfortable enough to chase after Milo but still so effortlessly cute. I paired that with the orange two piece for Milo. Orange looks so good on his skin tone and it’s super cozy and comfortable for him to run around in. So, perfect match.

By the way, what's your favorite memory of True Religion?

I have loved True Religion since middle school, I remember not being able to afford them but saving my money to buy myself a pair, I just felt like they were so bold and so cute and the fit of them always fit me so perfectly. When I finally got a pair I remember taking all of my MySpace or Facebook pics from the back haha. It’s such a full circle moment, me working with the brand because I vividly remember the times wanting to have them so bad and saving my money or begging my mama for them.

Let's talk about SkinBUTTR. Why did you start this brand, and how can skincare lovers benefit from it? 

I started skinBUTTR because I’ve always loved skincare. I’ve always been a business woman. At the time my two favorite things merged and I was able to create a business out of a product that I made myself. I love self care, and putting the time and effort into myself really makes me feel like the best most confident version of myself , so to be able to share that with others and inspire confidence and that glow in other women means the world to me.

If you had to choose a theme song for your life as it's happening now, what would it be and why?

Hahaaa I’d choose Wiz Kid - No Stress
